Welcome to the Western Yankee Web Site!Western Yankee is a site where you can get another view of
the events of our day without the trappings of the media or the political
powers that, through their self-serving exercise of power, have all but
destroyed this great Nation. I speak not only of national matters, but also
of matters associated with that great third-world economy known as the State
of California. Michael Creighton had it right in his book," State
of Fear". The media has devolved from a supposed objective source of
News to a purveyor of fear and the sensational. What little time devoted to
supposed News is hardly objective, but rather highly biased liberal nonsense
delivered by pretty faces who can barely read their cue cards! No wonder
stupid sitcoms thrive in that kind of non-competitive environment! However;
after decades of dumbing down our society by a failed public education
system, the average person doesn't bother watching the News anyhow. Maybe
our non-productive education system has served a useful function in-spite of
itself!
